GREETINGS FROM
THE DIRECTOR OF
GRADUATE PROGRAM

In response to advances in healthcare and ongoing societal changes, the challenges facing nursing have become increasingly complex and multifaceted. Today, nurses are required to engage with phenomena that cannot be adequately addressed through conventional approaches alone. Accordingly, advanced competencies—such as specialized knowledge, critical thinking, scholarly inquiry, creativity, practical expertise, and the initiative to effect change—have become essential.

At our graduate school, we are committed to fostering professionals who, grounded in the wisdom of those who came before them, are capable of exercising leadership that inspires change and elevates the quality of nursing care.

We warmly invite dedicated professionals who seek to explore solutions to questions arising in your daily practice, strengthen nursing capabilities within your workplaces, or provide better care to those you serve. We look forward to working collaboratively with you to develop meaningful solutions.

Mari Okada, Dean of the Graduate School
